Terms of Service

Secondway ("the app", "the service") is provided by DynamicTechs Limited. By installing or using Secondway, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. What Secondway is

Secondway is a content-blocking and self-control tool. It filters network requests and restricts access to apps and websites on the devices where you install it. It is a personal wellbeing tool — it is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice or treatment.

2. No guarantee of results

We provide the service "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that:

every piece of unwanted content will be blocked, or that no content will be blocked by mistake;
the protection cannot be bypassed by a determined user with administrator access to their own device;
the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, network, or other software.

Filtering decisions rely in part on third-party services, and no filter is perfect. Secondway is a tool that supports your own decisions — the outcome remains yours.

3. Your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
You may install Secondway only on devices you own or are authorised to configure. Installing it on someone else's device without their knowledge and consent is prohibited.
If the device is shared or belongs to an employer or school, you are responsible for having the necessary permission — protection settings can affect every user of that device.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Back up your devices before setting up protection.

4. Delays are intentional

Strict Mode and the cool-down delay are deliberate design features. When you turn them on, turning protection off, or removing the app, will require a waiting period that we cannot shorten for you — that is the feature you chose. Once set, a cool-down can be raised but not lowered. Please enable these options only when you understand what they do.

If you are permanently unable to remove Secondway from a device, contact us and we will help you remove it.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Secondway is sold as a subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown at checkout before you pay.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase — contact us and we will refund it. This is in addition to any statutory cancellation rights you have as a consumer.
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are managed and refunded under those stores' rules.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DynamicTechs Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of Secondway. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Secondway at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if the service is used unlawfully or to interfere with someone else's device.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version is always posted on this page, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, where DynamicTechs Limited is registered. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
